Exporting Outlook Express files and folders (inbox, outbox, etc.)

Problem: When exporting messages from Outlook Express to Outlook, you may receive the following error message:

"The Export could not be performed. An error occurred while initializing MAPI."

Solution: You cannot export messages from Outlook Express to Outlook (to an Outlook .pst file) unless you also have Outlook installed on your computer. At least this was what I experienced.
